We already know, Firefox is not the most friendly browser pixels bookmark bar and make it even worse. Reader Maranda shows us a simple way to save space without sacrificing fast access to your bookmarks.
We have already shown, how to site to your bookmarks bar by deleting bookmarks and labels, leaving only the favicons(small icons that appear next to the URL in the address bar.) However, this does not help the problem of vertical space, which on some screens(eg, netbooks) can be very important.
If you do not want to lose access to bookmarks, you can actually set them up as soon as the favicon bookmarks, and then move them to the navigation bar. Just go to View> Toolbars and click Customize. Then drag the bookmarks bar to the navigation bar. Go to View> Toolbars and uncheck Bookmarks Toolbar, and youll see, you have a few pixels of vertical space, but you can still get to the tabs easily. Check out the video for demonstration. It should also be noted that Mac users will need to little tweaking to favicons in the bookmarks bar.
