Firefox 4 beta will not include hardware acceleration

Posted by the tech on Sep 23, 2010 in Browser |

According to the latest information distributed by Mozilla, the launch date of the beta of Firefox 4 (originally scheduled in June) is currently undetermined. The hardware acceleration is not enabled as default.

Initially scheduled for Thursday, the output of the Firefox 4 beta has been postponed to a date “undetermined” by updating the Roadmap published by Mozilla.
No explanation has been provided to justify the delay.

In contrast, Conceivablytech.com Site found in the wiki beta browser that the default hardware acceleration is not available. It seems that only part of the implementation has been completed.

Consequently, beta testers will have to manually enable the hardware acceleration. A setback that falls just as Microsoft has just released the third preview of, Internet Explorer 9 which celebrates … hardware acceleration. Re: Firefox 4 beta will not include hardware acceleration I think that this is not the main peculiarity is expected of a good browser, A good browser should (in no particular order):

- Provide good security
- respects and correctly interpret W3C codes
- Quick view and not Buggy
- faster javascript engine
- Does not eat all the resources of the machines …

These are the basics … but ms IE never shines in any of these areas Re: Firefox 4 beta will not include hardware acceleration I used Firefox 4 beta, It is not good browser like other browsers. Because good browser provide security, quick view, faster javascript engine, etc. Firefox and google is not better then Firefox 4 beta browser.According to the latest information distributed by Mozilla, the launch date of the beta of Firefox 4 (originally scheduled in June) is currently undetermined.
